Even if I am not an MMO fanatic, I have to admit that it is super convenient to be able to hit the right button at the right time. What makes me a big fan of Razer-branded gaming mice is that the buttons are designed to be super sensitive.
The truth is that the buttons are large enough and the mechanical switches produce distinctive clicks. Others say that entrusting one digit with 12 buttons means you are looking for a trouble. Most FPS addicts I talked to consider the availability of 19 buttons overkill. I am trying to think of another mouse that possesses these capabilities, and I swear I can’t name such. The lack of a high-speed scrolling feature came as a massive disappointment to me, but I guess even the most sophisticated gaming peripherals cannot have all advanced features in the world. The scroll wheel is a tilting one, and it has a nice rubber ring with little bumps around so you can smoothly scroll without putting too much pressure. (I believe it’s time for you guys to spark off a riot and demand more mice for lefties). The Epic Chroma is suitable for right-handed MMO warriors only. The design is adapted to meet MMO players’ expectations which makes the mouse relatively unsuitable for other gaming genres. That’s an awesome feature, given the fact that it comes with 12 programmable buttons and they need to be equally easy to reach. The mouse ships with Classic Grip, Palm Grip, and Claw Grip pads and allows you to adjust it, so that it perfectly fits the shape of your hand.
